How to choose a suit?

An essential part of a man's wardrobe, a suit has the gift of revealing the wearer's natural elegance, as long as it is correctly chosen. Whether you are going to work or to a major event, IZAC suits are all synonymous with quality, in rigorously chosen textiles.

Which suit for which body type?

Like any other garment, a suit is chosen according to your body type. So you don't choose the same model if you are short and stocky or if you are a tall and slender man.

The choice of jacket
The two-button jacket is a basic suit jacket. Its straight fit has the advantage of being suitable for all body types. What's more, it's an all-purpose model, perfect for a casual or dressy look. The three-button jacket, on the other hand, is more vintage, as is the double-breasted jacket. The double-breasted jacket is currently making a comeback and is very elegant! Whatever you choose, pay close attention to the shoulder seams. You should also choose a slightly slim fit to enhance your figure.

The different types of trousers
The most common type of trousers is the straight cut without pleats. These are suitable for all body types. Semi-slim trousers bring modernity to suits and slim the leg. On the other hand, trousers with pleats add volume and offer a more retro effect.

What details should you choose on your suit?

At IZAC, every element is important and our suits are made with a real attention to detail. Here are some of the differentiating components to be found on our models.

Notable elements of the suit jacket
On the suit jacket, the natural horn buttons are of the most beautiful effect and are a guarantee of quality. The buttonhole allows you to accessorise the suit, for example by adding a lapel pin or a flower. The notched lapel serves to structure the silhouette. Ideally, it should be 9 cm wide. If you have a large body, it's best to avoid a thin lapel. Finally, as far as buttons are concerned, the fact that there are four buttonholes on the sleeves is an elegant detail.

These little things that make suit trousers look good
As far as the trousers are concerned, the piped and buttoned pockets at the back are a great classic. These are not designed to be used, but simply to accessorise the suit trousers and add to their chic. For added comfort, some trousers also have a V-shaped waistband in the back. At the bottom of the trousers, a 4 to 5 cm lapel makes the bottom of the fabric heavier and gives a better fit. The tabs on the sides of the trousers allow you to adjust the waist, which is ideal if you do not want to wear a belt.
